Yep, I’ve added a rollercoaster? Why? Well, why not?
Seriously, I’m working on a “show/explore” server, and that’s going to have, amoung many other cool things, a rather complex rollercoaster in it, so I decided to test some things on this server.
Unfortunately, in the first hours that the rollercoaster was up, someone (actually I know exactly the two people it was) griefed most of the coaster out of existence, as well as one of the Ice Bucket Challenge booths by using TNT minecarts on the coaster. As a warning to other server owners/ops, both Spigot & Bukkit Minecraft servers allow for TNT minecarts when you allow vehicles (boats, minecarts, etc.) even if you’ve removed the ability to use TNT. Lesson learned the hard way (server NOOB)!

Anyway, now there is no more TNT, TNT minecarts, and no more Creative Mode, because who really knows what other “dangerous” items will end up being available through these heavily modified servers? Honestly, no one except me really needs Creative Mode for this server since it’s basically (for lack of any better category) an Adventure server.
The main reason everyone wanted Creative Mode is to fly (and it does suck to walk/swim around what’s basically a water world), but now you can just use the “/fly” command, and you can also use the “/warp” command to basically teleport to various set locations around the world. To see a list of those locations, just type “/warp”.
And, hey, if you get the chance, don’t forget to dump the Ice Bucket on any Mooshrooms or Villagers that happen to stray under one of the booths!
